Harry Potter Extravaganza rocks!

Our Harry Potter Extravaganza was a blast--I've recovered from a serious lack of sleep and am glad it is over--but wow what fun we had!
We decorated the library, had lots of activities including a wand creation craft, facepainting and a costume contest. We reopened at 10PM Friday night and revealed the new book at 12:01 Saturday morning.

One of the participants actually told me that she couldn't believe she was in the library when she entered -- the lighting was different, we had fog and brick coverings on the wall. She said it was one of the most amazing and fun experiences of her life.

The local paper came out and tooks some pictures--I'm the one in the pink hair....
