Blog info aggregation.....

So how do we track all of those cool ideas we read in other people's blogs? I know that when I see something that would be useful for my library I cut and paste the info with the trackback link to a word document. Since so much of what I see is not really something to use at NPL just now (and may just be cool and fun) I want to keep it in a hopper/back burner thing. So maybe by linking in my blog I can do that:
So from Stephen's Lighthouse : http://www.toondoo.com/ where you can make your own comic strip. The new comic strip there is called Self Check--pretty funny and Library 2.0.
Also a podcasting tool site.

From Librarian in Black: a Change Agent badge that was given out at ALA--I missed it dang! Could be way cool for an in-house training as she mentions.

From Tame the Web: is blogging dead? (And if so should I even continue?)

I guess it is just boiling down to time and where to spend that time. Michael indicates he is reading fewer blogs now and I find I have less time to read all the blogs I'd like to. My RSS feed aggregation is getting out of control--but I don't want to miss anything, so of course, I do because I can't read it all.

Great links, Liesl! I think blogging is one of the more honest, fastest, and best conversation starter platforms available right now. Dying? Nay, I say. I think it's our inability to "get to it all" that you mention that discourages us, more than the quality and/or number of blogs out there.

Besides, it's the beauty of self-determination that allows us to stop and change our attitude about things. If the ennui of blogging is starting to sap your enthusiasm, then stop and get your daily feed of interesting stuff another way.

Also, one of the reasons I like Google Reader is that it allows me to save my favorite/interesting links in my "Shared items" blog-like list (URL included) where I can go back and read what I thought was cool and nifty.

I should investigate Google Reader further if it offers that ability! Keeping up with new stuff can be so challenging. :)
